Good afternoon. I've got a Sprite Surfer Deluxe with an electric geyser. How does the water flow into the geyser from the water tank in the nose cone?

Thanks for the reply Duncan. Unfortunately doesn't have a manual. Recently purchased the Sprite from an elderly couple

im sure its via the pump when the tap is turned on, thats how jurgens work. the pump sucks and pushes.

two roads diverged in a wood and i took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.

There is supposed to be a small blue pump in the water tank. The pump activates when you open the shower or the basin tap and shuts off when you close the tap.

Thanks all. Much appreciated.

It seems it is as simple as opening the hot water tap. The pump will do the rest.

Was just worried for the geyser to run dry and damaging the element.

Dankie vir die verwelkoming Karoo Klong.

Mooi dag vir almal

Welcome Riaan.

Yes the tap switches on the 12v pump in the can.
It can not pump air so your geyser can not run dry.

My aftermarket diaphram Shureflo pump can pump air and o must be careful.

Groete,
Paul

Welcome Riaan. Sounds like you've recently bought your Surfer. We love ours and would not trade it for any other van. Just as a matter of interest, what year is it and what did you pay?  Just want to keep up with the value of ours.

Hallo Riaan

Het hom by Discovery Caravans in Waterkloof gekoop.
