Ek weet daar is van julle wat al vrae gehad het oor air bags vir jou agtervere. Hier is myne. Hulle is die nuwer tipe wat nie langer word nie, maar VETTER. My voriges het die kar met 70mm gelig, hierdie keer bloot dat jou kar nie laer as sy normale hoogte sak nie. Ek pomp hulle 1.5 bar, maar hulle kan tot 3 bar gaan. Ek sal nooit sonder hulle ry nie.

Ek het nog nooit 'n probleem gehad nie  maar dan weer het ek Bladvere op die bakkies

Die Merc sleep ek bitter min mee maar sy sak nie baie nie

Ek hou my bal gewig laag glo dit help ook

I put a set of these bladders on my Mercedes which lasted for 2 years , yes they worked well but once you hit the dirt roads and a small stone gets in they will eventually puncture . I ended up having stiffer springs made up which prevented the rear sagging , yes the ride is a bit harder.

Chucky ek pomp as volg :

Gelaai met 150 liter water weeg die boswa amper een ton.

In erg dik sand pomp ek my bande 0.8 bar. Het al 0.5 bar gepomp. Boswa 0.7 bar.

Op teerpad met boswa 2,4 agter 2,3 voor.    Boswa 1,8 bar

In rotse pomp ek die bande 1,5 bar.    Boswa ook

Op grondpad (klipperig) pomp ek die Fortuner nooit meer as 1,8 nie, en die boswa 1.5. 

 

Met die karavaan pomp ek agter 2,4 bar, voor 2,1. Die karavaan altyd 2,1 bar.

 

Andrew I have not yet had any problems with the air bags leaking, perhaps I have just been lucky. And I have been on bad gravel roads for days, doing 100 to 120 km/h.  I heard that the bags are prone to being pinched when they are not pumped a little when you are loading.

Gebruik die oppomp "bladders" nou al sedert 2016 in die Prado en sal nie weer daarsonder wil wees nie. Pomp die vere 2bar as ek sleep (Sensation Vee) en 1bar as ek nie sleep nie. Het al baie slegte grondpad gery (sonder karavaan) en nog nooit 'n probleem ondervind nie. Beveel hulle toe oe aan!
