Jason het jy gesien hoe lyk Ellisras?
Friende dis erg.
Leon die fotos van Durbs is Ellisras se dam en omgewing. Dis ook as ramp gebied verklaar.
That's a lot of water. I'm glad we were not there when what must have been a wall of water came down.
Brian yes, its is bad i will try and see if i can go to vaaldam tommorow as they also issued a warning to lower areas. The dam is currently over 100% and they are opening s/gates to release high volumes of water. Fortunately, nothing compared with Ellisras and Bella Bella areas, since our area is controlled release.
Jayson,
We are also going to Waterberg Resort next weekend 21 March.
Will look out for you...

Just as I was starting to think that I am being paranoid, but mmmmmmmmmmmmm if you look at the weather sites they still predict that there is huge amounts of rain comming for next week, we planned to go camping this school holiday neer Bela-Bela, (already paid in January for the campsite),
Do you guys think it would be silly to cancel in advanced as I know I would loose monies on my payment for cancellation fees, or must I wait and see, pray for the best.
I agree with Stoffel, people that know the resorts or travel past them could you please keep us upto date as sometimes you can't really rely on the news as they might not be that reliable, specially for those resorts that is not affected.

One place I would not mind camping at in the next few weeks would be at the Augrabies National Falls Park. The site of the water comming down from the dams when they open the gates will be awesome.
I believe Augrabies falls are now in full flow.
