We spent a few days at Leentjiesklip, Langebaan this last week.

I have been ill for a while and not able to camp but hopefully on the road to recovery. This was an "exploratory" trip to see if I could cope as in a few weeks time we want to take a 2 to 3 week trip up the garden route. Fortunately I managed O.K.

I also want to see how the new "photo gallery" feature works and I have uploaded a few pics taken while we were there.

Fortunately the weather was quite good with a bit of strong South East wind late on Tuesday afternoon and a bit of rain early Friday morning, but these were both short lived.

Jeez, I understand a paddlepool for a baby, but the size of the pool in the one pic is ridiculous! Glad you are feeling better Alex. Methinks a brief visit in early March is in order.

HaHa. Thanks Johann. Actually when I am away I just take a "walk around" lens and camera with me. The lens is not very high quality but has a huge zoom range which makes it convenient for snapshots. My professional stuff I leave at home.

Andrew. The guy with the pool was camping alone and during the day was usually flotaing in it with a beer or glass of wine in his hand. A colourful character.

Classic. Where was your site? Just booked C16 for myself in March (private ablution site).

Andrew. I was on D16 which is near the northern ablution block. I have been on this site before and like the paving. Because it is raised, you still gets a nice view even if there are other campers on the seafront.

Glo dit as jy wil maar die brandewyn het net 'n ander smaak as jy so oor die see kyk met die sonsondergang te Leentjiesklip.  Onbeskryflik heerlik.  !!!
