I Recently bought a secondhand caravette 6L caravan. I want to know if there is anyone somewhere that can help me obtain the front and back windows. even if secondhand will do

look on Gumtree - there is a chap in East Rand who makes the windows. look under Caravan windows

Happy Happy Camper. I also needed one, to be honest the guy in the East Rand was not all that helpful. I landed up buying from Comet Caravans, not cheap. There is a guy in Alberton who said he could get it at a better price, will get his number tonight. He services my van and repaired my top up.

That number I promised. Commercial Caravan Hire and Repairs. Jeremy or Craig 011 900 2033 or 082 344 6273. I paid R2000.00 for my Caravette 6 front window at Comet caravans. Jeremy said when I am ready for the back window he can arrange it at a better price. Worth a shot. By the way, welcome to the forum.

Try Brits Caravans. They are close to the Jurgens CI factory. And usually buy all the old stock from them. Chances are they will have.

Thanks for all the feedback! This is a work in progress! I had the pop top canvas replaced. Are busy renovating all the cupboard doors and replacing curtains. Lots off work to do but very rewarding. Can not wait for the finished job!

Hi there everyone! I need to know more on the chargemaster, as I am new at this caravaning bit! what does it do and how does it work! do I need to buy batteries for the caravan? I bought a secondhand fridge (barlows) for R700! and it fits perfectly! I am in the process of re=doing the curtains. I think that by the next weekend, the canvas, doors and curtains will be up and I will post some new photos as we go along.

Alta, go to the search facility, and type in: chargemaster, there were a few discussions on the subject, and problems, etc. If you need diagram of chargemaster, please gooi me an e-mail to fppretorius@gmail.com, I will send it to you.

If you can't find the discussions on the chargemaster, I will try to help, but e-mail works better!!!, and remember my Afrikaans is very limited, as for now I have used most of it for tonight!!!!!

thanks for all the comments! about the BLUE. I was born in December and my colour is beige/brown! that is why maybe I love the autumn colours so much. We are going to be camping in the bushes so the brown blends in with the surroundings! hahaha. No all jokes aside both my husband and I love the earthly colours. My youngest son came to help us and he enjoyed the "hard work"and this was much appreciated by us. Will post pics when everything is fitted. I also want to mention that all the work is done by ourselves!
