Also looks a bit dry, did it received some snow over the winter that can now filter down for the spring period ?

Ek wou vir 2-3 aande gestaan het by Dragons peak of Hlalanathi, maar hulle eis minimum 5 dae oor Desembers. Hier by Mountain Splendour kan jy enige hoeveelheid aande bespreek. Ek het baie van Monks Cowl gehou, maar wil ander in die omgewing probeer

Our second to favourite berg campsite and good for us in winter because swimming a bit cold. Through out the year Cobham near Himeville still our favourite because of close berg views, swimming in deep rock pools 200m away, and uncrowded camp sites. People put off by no electricity at sites but showers have lights and hot water so good for us even without solar power or batteries in the van.

Whatever you do when you visit the Drakensberg, go to Dragon Peaks. Do not miss this camping site. It is situated right next to the Air Force helicopter training school. PAY the money (approx R1300 per person) and let them take you up the mountain. It IS THE BEST thing you will ever do. If your timing is right you can visit the Drakensberg Boy's Choir.

You'll never never know if you never never go
