Really beautiful at Highmoor but first 2 days no water in showers and toilets and next 3 days cold showers. The ranger Michaul did help by letting us shower in the staff shower.
Cobham still the best. You have lovely river pools to swim in about 300m from the campsite and you get water with hot showers. Scenery of same quality. If you like fishing trout fishing good at Highmoor.
No water or hot water would have resulted in my complete and absolute sense of humor failure...
We did get peeved off. Fortunately first afternoon there was enough to fill our water containers for 2 days there after we had cold water and no hot water so flannel bathed.
The scenery going there is really beautiful and the camp site overlooks the mountains as in the photos, so revisiting is tempting.
There is campsite Glengary a few km down the road with all the amenities so we would consider going there and doing day trips to hike up to the 3 dams at Highmoor.
I have said it before.............. you really do have the ability to pick fantastic places to camp. Apart from the hot water I hope that you enjoyed the trip.
Enjoy. It looks great to be there.
