Yeah. Tried the YouTube video, but patience is not an asset I possess. Eventually weighed it down with bricks and drove the car over it to keep it out of the way. Gave it to a friend...sucker!
Andrew I agree with your post from yesterday regarding a camping trailer. I have an Echo3 and the caravan, we mostly use the caravan because its more comfortable, there is nothing worse than trying to get a child to snooze on a hot summers day at home now try that in a ripstop canvas tent in 35 to 40 degree heat. the tent only starts cooling at around 9 or 10 pm. I mostly use it winter.
Boatmaker, just be carefull if you go for the EC. Rather take a manual hauler & semi with a link than an automatic hauler, because if you pass the test with an automatic, same will reflect on your license card and then you are only entitled to drive an automatic.
So slaan maar daai kierrie.
Shaakir I would bite the bullet, and buy an old van. Try and hang on a bit and increase the budget and get a desent van and have the comforts af it. If you go the shell way with a blow up you may as well stay with the tent.
Why dont you look at a bush trailer, you are bound to get a desent one at a reasonable price.
Just my 2c worth.
