We camped for a few days at Merry Pebbles in January. A few days into the break we noticed this odd looking creature a few stands away. I walked up to the gentleman to chat to him about his camper and he replied that this was their first trip from Richards Bay and he build it from scratch on a brand new chassis that he bought. His cost for the van was less than a five foot trailer. I must say is is a bit cramped, but hey, him and his wife only sleeps in it. I don't thimnk there is any room for them to fool around......

I wish them many happy and comfortable kilometres with there van.

Back to Merry Pebbles, how did you find the security? We are planning to go there in Late April/May. at the same time what was your general view on the resort?

Cute ..............

I guess in there you don't go to bed  ---- you worm into bed....keeps you young.

When I see all the vans in a resort, 99% of the campers are not in their vans during the day.

They sit mostly in their tents or are sightseeing. So, this little one makes sense because you only sleep in it (after you wormed inside...).

Dick - search for Merry Pebbles on our Resort Search. Click on the "Customer Feedback" link.

There have been four Customer Feedback reports.

I have not stayed at Merry Pebbles but have called in there many years ago - looked good.

Regards.
This is how we spent the last fifteen years - working our buts off!

Dick, also visit their web site.

...and bring your own braai grid along (at least 400 to 600mm  rectangular ).

They have these funny concrete tubes planted in the earth and half filled with soil, so your grid has to lay on top of the concrete pipe.

Merry Pebbles is certainly worth a stay.

Heindrich, het jy gekyk of daar nie 'n winch agter op die bakkie was nie, ek dink dit kan dalk agter op getrek word.Laughing

''Lekker JAG''Laughing
