Sorry! New on the forum. Neglected to name the topic.I am looking for the specs of the early 80's Jurgens Fleeline range ,i.e No's 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, L, XL. I currently own a 1981 Jurgens Champion with which I am very happy, but looking out for something with less wind resistance.Anyone out there that can help?

Hi Neels.

Go to our "News & Advice" section - follow link at top of the page. On the left hand side we have published a full list of earlier model caravan specs that were supplied to us by the Jurgens / Gypsery & Sprite factory.

All there.

Regards.

Thanx Willie. Found it but it "only" goes back as far as the 90's. I am specifically looking for early 80's ones. I like the shape and the build quality of the old Jurgens'es. The issue at hand is the fact that my wife is rather reluctant to give up the space that the Champion offers. So I am looking for a pop-top that offers (almost) the same length, and "kanniedood" build quality, but with less wind resistance. Any ideas?

Hi Neels

I have a 1983 Fleetline 5.  Tare is 820kg and GVM 1000kg.  I do not have any user manuals for it but if you want I can take some pics of the inside with a few dimensions and load them here.  It tows very very well and is rock steady.  Don't ask me about fuel consumption I never bother with checking this.  I use those Jurgens stabilisers from that era with the chains that you hook onto the yoke/horns on the disselboom.

Let me know.

Chris

Thanx Chris

Do you perhaps know what the differences between the models are? Is it the size, layout, or purely age / synchrony with model 2 following model 1 etc. What is the difference between L / XL? I will be grateful if you can mail me pictures/ measurements so that we can "compare sizes", so to speak. Let's compare say:

1. The shortest part at floorlevel along the tentstrip

2. The middle along the level of the (bottom) window sills

3. The widest part on top

4.The width of the double bed / dinette

Thanx again
