Welkom / Welcome to the Forum.....
I see skies of blue
And clouds of white
The bright blessed day
The dark sacred night
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world
Try a group called The Golden Oldies. A bunch of pensioners with branches all over the country and I believe they try to camp at least once a month for a few days.

Hopefully Neill and MArg read here. They belong to a club in the Durban area. Maybe you should do a search on all their topics.
The Happy Campers.
Found one their postings. Unfortunately not much info except the name.

Must mention the postings date back to 2013. Update needed.
If you ask Admin nicely they will help you make contact with them.
Another posting by Marg.
You did not like the first club you tried to join and was against the club idea, but once you shopped around you found one you liked.
Everyone should be treated the same as everyone pays the same fees.
Committee members should stick to committee business. A big problem in some clubs is when committee members think they own the members and try to control their every movement. At Trekkers we all do our own thing. There are afternoon teas and braais lit but nothing is compulsory. If you want to chill out you can. Well that is what they advertise as a perk of the club.
I like Trekkers because it suits me with Marshall, as mentioned before he is a disable child, and he takes up a lot of our time. If it was compulsory to join in with everything we would not have stuck this long with them.
So my advise is keep trying until you find a club that suits you. I am sure if you move your club you are with now would welcome you to camp with them when you are in the area again. I have seen this with Trekkers. They really welcome a visit from past members.

I tried a couple of years ago to find "Golden Oldies" who were then based in Pretoria, but it appears they have been inactive since 2012.
Suggest you go onto the Home page of this website and click on the Tab CLUBS, you will find a lot of info on all active clubs in your area. It looks like KZN and Cape are very active.
Good luck and happy camping for 2020.
Joint SAWA and it was a ball for 6jears till we stoped camping

Any clubs in North West?
Klerksdorp
If you google
Caravan Club South Africa
You will find that they have various regions all over the country. This could be a start.
