2006 Sprite Swing
Hi we've just collected our 2006 Sprite Swing. How on earth do you figure out all those tent poles?
Help any advice or where can we obtain a diagram or manual would be much appreciated.
Happy Camping ð
The Swing poles are quite straight forward, because if the tent is not modyfied, the poles fit the same as the Penta diagram.
The best way to start is:
- Unpack the poles.
- Lay them out on the ground.
- Match them separetly and place same lenghts to each other and work from there forward.
When I bought the Penta, it took me 1x Full week to sort out Rally and Side Tent poles.
The best way to start is:
- Buy a "Telescopic Paint Pole" @ R 75 to get the correct size pole where it must go.
Otherwise "Google" has diagrams.
Onother way out is to ask Geert (Relaxed Camper).
Always start to setup your tent from the Middle of the caravan to Outwards.
Setdown, start opposite: From Outside to Middle.

I see skies of blue
And clouds of white
The bright blessed day
The dark sacred night
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world
WAARSKUWING:
Kampeer is aansteeklik en verslawend ðŸËÂ

Provide an email and I will send you the diagram. But its actually easy to remember.
Step 1
All the poles that are positioned away from the caravan (one end against the van the other away from the van) are telescopic poles. A thinner pole inside a thicker one.
Step 2
All poles that are positioned parallel with the caravan side (one end to front of van and the other to rear of caravan side) consist of two sections each of the same diameter with one end crimped so that it fits inside the other. Total 8 sections and when connected they are of the same length. Each to fit in from middle pole to a side.
Step 3
Then you should have 4x poles that are of equal length with end cap (foot) to form the legs of the outer side of main tent and legs of outer side of stoep.
Step 4
The two middle poles(one for main tent and one for stoep) consist of telescopic sections to allow for adjustment in height of the middle part of the tent.
