Portable Solar Panels
During my recent stay at Balule I discovered (at great irritation) that my existing Solar Panel setup is totally inadequate. My current setup delivers a theoretical 260w but I doubt that that’s the reality.
Any recommendations as to a good and practical portable setup. I’m considering the Flexopower Mojave 260 and linking it via a Y lead to a Mojave 120 (giving a theoretical 380w) but wonder if there’s a better option. I don’t want big, heavy and cumbersome panels.
Thanks

Kyk op Ecoflow se website....hulle produkte is goed. Ons gebruik hul power station (sonder son panele) en is baie gelukkig....lekker klein en kompak

Looking at the cost OF Ecoflow panels.
These are prices of fixed panels currently:

Takealot verkoop die Ecoflow 400w draagbare panele vir R9999. Gewone prys R20000!

LS battery bygese. Sal sien met die LiFePo?
Groete,
Paul
Just remember to take at least 20% for losses off your panel's max output.
Your strongest weapon is your mind!
And then there's, Power Tools!
I had an electrical engineer friend of mine look st the specs of the Ecoflow 400. Not only is it very heavy (19kg with case) but it operates at very high voltage(48 as opposed to 24of the Flexopower). He is dubious that it will be compatible with the controller of my Caravan.

I have been dreaming of putting 2 normal panels on the van's roof. R4000 for 800kwh.
Then intercepting the vans power with a Sunsynk Contour 3kwh of battery.
So mains and/or pv in and then power to the vans current distribution box and Battery.
???

The problem with rooftop panels is that they don’t work well if you want to park in shade
