The N2 @ Swellendam is closed due to riots this morning. The municipal building in the town has been burnt down, riot police from Robertson were brought in to bring the situation under control. Schools and shops closed.

So sad for such a beautiful little town.

And what did "they" achieve by burning down a building?

Brian they are Brain dead.

Apparently they are demanding 50kw free electricity without registering, applying or qualifying for the indigent subsidy. 

Those who believe that they can destroy other peoples property and loot while protesting are the brain dead ones.
