Hi to everyone that remembers me. Happy new year to you all, I hope this year will be a good one for all of you, despite the flippen load shedding.
I had put myself in self exile due to the fact that I had sold off all my camping gear and retired to the Western Cape where we built a house in Stillbay for ourselves.
In the year dot, I posted about my fathers 1962 Cabson Caravan. If I remember correctly the Topic Title was they don't make them like they used to.
Ok so the reason for this post is that my father passed on last year aged 91 and his trusty old Cabson is now part of his estate. Is there perhaps anyone here that could help with a rough valuation, or who may be interested in purchasing the old van. If interested, let me know, and I will post some updated pics of the van.
Back Pacher welcome back die waarde ek nie n cloe nie maar sterkte daar
My father in law (GP Theron) built two Capsons at his home. Beautifully finished. Travelled to Port st Johns (horrible road from Umtata) three times. Photo taken in 1967 at Koelbaai. LOOK AT THE STUD!
