The price for the stabilizer is realy a bargain.

Movers you can Google as this is an item that you will have to buy new an the only reason is that you won't find secondhand ones. That is if you buy the proper ones mounted against the wheels of the caravan.

Silver sail or covers are available at Outdoor Wharehouse or Campworld.  Only advice there is "Goedkoop is duur koop"

Thanks Oom Jeep. I see i'll have to make some enquiries into others advertised for less to find out if they are for lighter caravans, eg trapezium mk1. You will appreciate wanting to save some cash----but if yours is the proper one then so be it. As I have a lot to learn about everything camping I must ask you do you need any further info about my caravan, which I haven't taken delivery of yet eg the tow hitch?
And Leon. yes I found out this morning I have to have 4 movers at an unfitted cost of R22600. So I'm hoping a rocky will do the trick for me.

Basil

You don't need 4 movers.

Type "WilSur" in the Title search then you will find loads of information I posted w.r.t. mods on the Exclusive.

Hello 'Wilsur'. I found nothing under this search but under 'movers' I found a deacription of your experience with Albert fitting a powertouch. Is this what you were referring to? And do you still recommend this 2 - mover setup? it will be great news for my pocket. What did yours cost at the time incl fitting in pta? I'm in randburg.

Hi Basil

Yes, the mover I uesed I think is the best for the daouble exel caravan.  I have included some links were you can compare the performance of the import movers.

Check this link.

Thanks Wilsur-very useful info. I've sent an enquiry to powertouch---lets see what it costs now. and thanks to mr Chuck Norris for the welcome--ja, I;m 57 and never caravanned before so its a new adventure. I'll be starting at Richards bay for the winter and see which way the wind blows me from there, fulltiming for a year or two

Hi Basil.  First thing is that the rockey jockey will probably push your caravan over a clean level surface where ever you want it, but the moment the surface is wet or there is a bit of resistance at the main wheels that rocky is going nowhere with your caravan.

Just for interest I also have a Powr Touch mover  on my double axle Maia and it realy works great.

Basil. The straight liner is actual thé stabiliser to use on the large vans. Yellow blade and others are for smaller vans.
Trapesium is also a very good "no-sway" system but its actual not a stabiliser.
Secondhand trapeziums should be re- bush to get the 100% value of it.

I love camping all year round
