Alan there is a hardware store in Oudstshoorn that sell similar pumps like these in your photo at a very cheap price.

Danie got such a pump and did a test on it by wich he pumped the water way above his head to a shower head and the pump worked fine.  Somewhere here on the forum there is photos of it and the quickest way to find it is if Danie can bring that post forward for us.

You will somehow have to get the contact details of the store and find out if they still have stock.  I bought myself the same pump and currently keep it as a spare and to pump water into the caravan tank should I not have access to a tap with the hosepipe.

Check Central Boating Cape Town.

I bought a submersible for my van and even with transport it was cheaper and far better than the local caravan outlets.

Even the normal inline pump currently used as standard in the latest caravan is a good call.

Something to note:

With the higher amps that the larger pumps use the micro switches in the taps don't last that long and its advisable to install a small relay with the large pump.

Alan I can bring my topic forward but the Swanies in Oudshoorn pump must only run with an open tap. It pumps up to 8bar before the pressure switch switches off. I will see if I can find the picture of the same make but different design that draws low current but enough volume. I saw the design for the 1st time at a Camp world branch. Price was half what you will pay fit the one you have shown.

Alan sorry the pump I saw was a Shurflow but instead of R2500 the price is much lower. You can contact Silverlakes Campworld or may be the name is Silverlakes Trailers. Quote this stock number 2095C and they will be able to identify this specific pump. Some specs I did have but cannot find it now. If someone passes there they might get a picture. It is on the shelf if you walk in to the counter it is to the left just before you leave the building to go to the parked trailers.

Thanks to google I found a picture. Very close to the Aqua.It comes with a filter.

The China pump in my other topic I brought forward was only R199. Just look under active topics.
