Dube ook op myne, en bosveld oase. Enige oord in Natal, want ek was nog nooit daar nie.

Sal graag na daai nature's valley rest camp toe wil gaan in die Tsitsikama woud. En Natuurlik Pretorius kop in Kruger. Merry Pebbles in Sabie. St. Lucia.

As long as everything goes my way...I'm totally flexible

Stem saam 'n mens moet soveel as moontlik oorde besoek.

Lees nou so deur almal se lyste. En ek het vergeet van baie. Het in totaal by omtrent 80 oorde gekamp.
Nog weer n slag.... kamp by.
Hollandse molen. Montagu. Karoo NP. Waenhuiskrans. Van stadens. Te veel om op te noem.

Snaaks hoe verskillende kampers hierdie draad sien.
Elma hou van Hartenbos, vir my is hy weer so-so.
In die Drakensberge se kampeer oorde... Die beste.

Harv, You sound like you think life ends at retirement.  Just the opposite: It really begins!  We put in about three times the distance per annum now than what we did before retirement.  Hip replacements cannot overshadow a person's will to live and enjoy life, so chin up!

Cheers Fred!

Heh, heh! Just having a laugh, laddie. Though I'm not big on driving, so 300 kms a day max will be the target at that stage. I'll probably be in the karoo somewhere when I do call work quits, so I will have options aplenty campingwise....

You don't have to drive far to enjoy the trip.  We had an eight day tour mainly through the Little Karoo about two weeks ago and our average distance per day was just over 100 kms. Trying to limit trips to 300 k/days sounds about right. When coming down to Stilbaai abut a month ago, we had only one two long leg: Centurion to Colesberg which was more than 300 kilos.  This makes the drive itself a pleasure.
