Marco, You might also consider an older conventional caravan like say a pre-90's Gypsey, Jurgens or Sprite.  They all had proper under carraiges and suspensions.  If you remove their bodies, which was just wood and aluminium, you would also have a good base from which to build.  And you would have a much wider choice than looking only to a slipstream.  I am not talking from knowledge, but I think Jurgens might have used the same base for the Slipstream and theis conventional caravans.

Thanks for the advice but I'm a bit sceptic about building a caravan from scratch.

Modifing a current slipstream you have all the old parts to use as templates which you just improve

If their is an company or someone that can build an caravan from scratch I love to design it and give it to someone to build the chassis and shell then I'll just add the interior and tech

Marco, I would guess buying a brand new caravan will probably be cheaper than have one custom built.  If you do it yourself it will probably be affordable- members on this Forum have done that, but to have a professional workshop do a once-off, might not be an affordable proposition.  Also, if you do it yourself, you will also quickly see where you are going wrong and immediately correct it which will be even more costly with a professional company.  Do keep us updated please.

100% correct Fred modifying is more affordable.

Modifing a current caravan save allot of guessing work no research and engineering to be done. I can simple take of the sides, tent, roof, axle modify them and put them back.
