I’m all for saving electricity wherever we can. Some campsites have installed some kind of sensor in their ablutions that switches the lights on when it detects someone entering the room. These are great but have some complications. I went for a late night shower on our recent camping trip and was very impressed as I walked into the pitch dark building and ‘kazaam’ the whole place lit up like a searchlight. So I happily got into the shower and was just covered with soap when ‘kazaam’... I was in pitch darkness. So with soap all over I attempted to get the lights back on by waving and jumping up and down all to no avail. So it was decision time. Carry on in the dark or sneak out of the cubicle and try to get them on out there. So I decided on the latter and so headed out dripping soapy water as I went. If anyone was watching they would have seen quite a thing with me all covered in soap jumping and waving all around the ablutions.

Thumbs up to all you electricity savers but from now on I think I’ll take a candle with to the showers at night

Oh dear, that can really be a problem.   Thanks for the story, I had a good giggle imagining it, but certainly would not like to be in that position.laughing   I will make sure I have a torch with me, for sure!

We solved the problem by taking the mop with into the shower cubicle or toilet. Just stick it up, give a good surrender wave and "kazaam".laughing

LOL A mop it is then. What a clever plan. I just hope no one comes in at that moment while I am waving a mop from inside the cubicle. They might be so terrified at the sight of the dancing mop that they will never shower there again.

paar jaar gelede was Susan in die bad by Pretorius kop.
