Duikers Rest bush campsite is situated on the renowned Bergplaats Game Lodge. Bergplaats is situated 80kms before Beaufort West (on the CPT side) & only 450km from Cape Town. The lodge is remotely located on a gravel road adjacent to the N1. No backtracking is required.

Our rates are R150 per vehicle for your entire stay and R60 per person per night. Children under 10 years old stay free. We have a minimum stay requirement of 2 nights over week ends and major holidays. We guarantee once you arrive you will want to book another night. Other activities prices can be sent to you. Bookings require a 50% deposit when making a booking.

We are a 45 minute drive away from the Karoo National Park ( which now also has a pride of Lions), Oudtshoorn and the Cango Caves, Ostrich farms are only ±2.5 hrs drive from the lodge, visit the snow or the observatory in Sutherland ( 2.5 hours drive), Frazerburg is an 1 hour drive, the historical Beaufort West is a 1 hr drive, Merweville 45 minutes away, Leeu Gamka 45 minutes away.
Helicopter Flips can be arranged over the Karoo from the main lodge.

FROM CAPE TOWN:
Take The N1 North via Paarl. Continue on N1, passing Worcester, Touwsriver & Laingsburg. At Leeu Gamka turn left just after the Shell Ultra City onto the R353 towards Frazenburg. Travel for 44KM and then turn right onto a gravel road (as good as most country tar roads). Sign says Beaufort West. Travel for 26KM and turn left at Bergplaats sign. Carry on for 12KM following Bergplaats signage all the way to the Gemsbok Lodge.

FROM JOHANNESBURG/BLOEMFONTEIN:
Take the N1 South and carry on until you reach Beaufort West. Drive through Beaufort West. Carry on for 11KM (past the Oudtshoorn/George turn-off).
Turn right at the Frazenburg/Merweville sign. Follow this dirt road for 56KM (road is as good as most country tar roads and prefect for any car or motorbike).
Make sure you take the left exit at the fork in the road (Theeskloof & Merweville road). Turn right after 56KM at the Bergplaats signs.
Follow the Bergplaats signs and drive to the main Gemsbok Lodge (12KM).

Rest, Relax, Revive your Soul at Teri-Moja Game Lodge

Relax and unwind in breathtaking surroundings, 15km south of Beaufort West and only a stone's throw from the busy N1. The recently opened Teri-Moja Game Lodge lies in a game rich area virtually on the banks of the fully stocked 19ha Stolsriver Dam. Views from the seven private, comfortable, cool, self-catering, thatched chalets, are splendid.

The venue, is managed by Morne and Jacolize, part of the Young family who have been leaders in service to tourists in Beaufort West for over 30 years. The fully-equipped chalets, each with twin or double beds, fold-out double sleeper couch, two single beds in the loft and en-suite facilities, offer superb views of springbok, gemsbok, black wildebeest and blesbuck. Sunrise across the plains, sunset over the Nuweveld Mountains and excellent views of the night skies make a stop over here more than memorable.

Teri-Moja offers Karoo braai packs, braai wood, salads, etc. in our shop, and don't forget about our pre-packed Karoo Lamb! Come and sit down for a Karoo Breakfast before taking on the N1.

In the near future, the venue will be expanded to offer conference facilities, a challenging 4 x 4 route, angling and zebras will be seen along the game trails!
