The Enseleni Nature Reserve features an abundant number of aquatic birds and animal species including hippos and crocodiles. Visit the country’s largest harbour home to the most magnificent wetlant area, a home for a vast population of aquatic birds. A short drive away is the Hluhluwe Umfolozi Park and the St Lucia Park, as well as Mapelane Nature Reserve which is a delightfully remote hideaway offering beautiful walks through tropical forest and bush. The Mkuzi Game Reserve has a large game population and the scenery is spectacular. The St Lucia Marine Reserve where swamp forests and grasslands are found, is a must visit.
